Hasta la vista, Green Phosphor Island!

I have removed my payment info from my second life account; I will not pay another $300 monthly fee for Green Phosphor Island. Folks interested in demos or use of the Glasshouse technology within Second Life can simply meet me in a public sandbox. Those already using Glasshouse off of the island may continue to do so.

Paying $300 per month for one server to run a virtual world sim means you are pretty much getting yiffed. While I am on the subject of ridiculous things, have you seen all the avatars that "camp out" in Second Life, earning a few Linden$ per hour for sitting in a camping spot? We're talking cents per hour for someone's time! Folks is your time really worth that little?
